Arrowverse Crossover Event review Part II

Tonight was the conclusion to the epic 4 day (actually 3) Arrowverse crossover event. Here is my review for the final half of the crossover. Don’t worry, I will keep it spoiler free.
The third episode was interesting. It had a more character driven narrative. I haven’t seen Arrow in a while. Hence, I did feel a bit lost with all the new characters on the show. But it doesn’t affect the primary story of the Dominator’s. My one complaint was the pacing. It didn’t have a smooth flow compared to the previous episode.

Another thing to add this is also Arrows 100th episode. It was pretty cool to have a bunch of the characters from the previous seasons. It had this reunion feel going on. It was a fun episode. Simply not as exciting as the previous.

The epic conclusion was on tonight’s Legends of Tomorrow. CW didn’t hold anything punches on this episode. It is as epic as we could hope for on a network channel. The final battle did remind me a bit of The Avengers. Which is a great compliment.

My one problem is with Commander Steel. He’s a new character from Legends of Tomorrow. Another show that I have some catching up to do. Steel’s costume looked cheap, like it was made of plastic. It’s so bad that even Heat Wave makes fun of it. But I’m just nitpicking. It’s a great finish of an epic crossover.
